Harmony
When everything I’ve come to know, comes back to haunt and break me down
I give into my glimpse of hope, and take to music where I drown
Ticking clocks and tapping drums, they match the beating of my heart
Hollow sounds and hymns made whole, they keep my breath held from the start

Striking keys with gentle souls, and strumming thoughts on broken strings
I only hope that me and you, can time forever while we sing
We’ll take forever in our hands, and hold onto our song so tight
We’ll run away into the dark, and take the secrets from the night

When every lyric we have learned, is burned into our minds like steal
I’ll take some time to think of you, and wonder if you’re even real
So if you choose to take my hand, and teach me one more melody
Then choose to have me to the end, and guide me through our harmony

One last song an ending note, I’ll hear you sing the final verse
Unlock these chains and set me free, save me from these chords of curse
And now I’m weak and broken down, just as when I am old and sick
I hope to god you love me now, just like you love our music
