Midnight Flower
Your warmth is like the sun that sets over the plains,
Its beautiful love moving onto my skin,
Touching me ever so softly,
Like the moonlight caresses the midnight flower.
Your lips are the air to my lungs,
Always leaving me for seconds,
But always there when I need to take it in.
Your eyes are like the seasons; ever changing,
So lovely and knowing; loving and gentle like the cool night wind that brush my face,
Ever so vibrant and warm; welcoming me into your peaceful arms.
Your love for me is that of the red rose,
Enchanting as it wraps itself around my heart,
Bright light escapes,
Forever more alive and free,
Filling me with glee.
