Dance Floor
From where she stood, everything was flawless
he told her things she thought no one would
when he held her hand it felt like a dream
her love for him, was undying.

He didn’t know she was there
she was suppose to be at home
he was out to have some fun
yeah she never had to know.

 She scanned the room
 looking for his green eyes
but she found them looking into
a pair that weren’t her own.

 She took a double take
and saw what she feared the most
seeing his arms around another girl
 made her heart ache
she knew right then and there he wasn’t hers anymore
she turned and ran for the door
leaving the one she loved behind
 out on the dance floor.
