My Garden

May 15, 2015

In my garden I saw a butterfly, overhead it passed me by.
In my garden I saw a bumble bee; I kept on walking as it buzzed past me.
In my garden I sit under the large oak tree, I looked up to see a squirrel staring at me.
Things grow plentiful in my garden, the plants must be dug up before winter; or else they will harden.
My love for my garden is as vast as it reaches; it goes from the mountain tops to the beaches.
Where is this garden? Why, it is in heaven my friend! My garden reaches to the beaches, and here the beaches never end.

Super lovely word choice! The rhymes here seem so fantastical and perfectly strung together... I've always tried to write a poem with such a seamless rhyme scheme, but unfortunately rhyming poetry is not my forte. The imagery conveyed by words is also excellently portrayed - you've got some real talent hidden up your sleeve.
