Left Behind
Love me, you can’t do
Leave me you do well
Cry for me you wouldn’t dare
With tears from a dry well
You’re saving all your lovely drops
For your growing well of pride
To you I mean so little
But my love is smiling wide
You see me on the corner
As I pass you on the road
We saloon slide like passers by
And side-eye as we go
What is the reason you cannot
Just see me as your love
The day you finally look at me’s
A day not soon enough
I can’t stand you right in front of me
You just like to laugh each time I scream
I can’t watch you rip up all of me
Just ease me into serendipity
Leave all of your fear and pride alone
Tears are normal when true love is shown
Open eyes and hearts- open wide
Make up all the love you left behind
I thought I’d lost you
Time and time again
This torture-coaster
Never seems to end
We used to be so close
Almost best friends
Now I’m on a shore
That never ends
You’re drifting off again my love
Don’t sail too far away
