Your Ocean
Illustrated are the pages
of something that’s come to be
All colours of a lonely ocean
drowning in blues and green
The blues for clouded judgement
And the ice inside your soul
The green for temporary fixes
As you’re losing all control
None of the voices are louder
Than the thoughts inside your mind
Those voices are all just silhouettes
Of what you’ve left behind
Goodbye to the girl in yellow
Who tried to give you the sun
Your ocean doesn’t need a light
Or a fix to what’s begun
