Why do we lock people up in a cage

For not obeying laws that were made

By others, not each other?

We say we have freedom,

But we follow everything except for a choice we are given,

A multiple choice test is not freedom,

It is just a choice between a few people

With only a few differences.

The laws include everything from

paying money

That you don’t have

To having a bad pre established attitude.

But, everyone else goes with it,

So you should too?

The people who rebel are very few.

We should do it peacefully,

Following the true meaning of liberty

To finally be a country of liberty,

Not one that grants innocence to those who can buy

The better lawyer,

But to those who are truly innocent.

Because if money sums up your worth as a human,

And money is paper,

What are you really?

Are you just a blank canvas stripped from nature

With a twisted shape and form,

So the society can stay uniform?

What do you want to be,

How about more than a dead tree?
