What Is Loss?
You can sense it
Loss
You never know when it will come
But when it does it makes itself known
It all starts with a solemn messenger
Then a state of disbelief
Some refuse to ever believe they’re gone
Grief manifests itself in many ways
A river of tears
Anger thrashing inside you like the restless sea
Or Depression’s shadow sweeping over you like a shroud
The numbness can overtake you
You’ll cease to feel
To love
To live
