Emotions
They go back and forth
Switching from second to second
Flowing like a river
Through your entire body
You can’t control them
But you can choose to show them.
Catching a feeling
Then throwing it out to be conceived
By others who just might not understand
They are a spiraling staircase
When you think it’s over
Another curve comes around
Switching your direction.
Leaving you lost.
Leaving you confused.
Ecstatic
Frightened
Nervous
Emotions
