Fallen Star
In the thick if the night,
Behind a misty window stood a broken soul.
A soul so fragile to carry burdens.
With eyes that glistened with tears.
Tears occupied by fear.
Like prey she stood,
Awaiting to be pursued by her predator.
Eyes burning with desire the predator starred.
She stood helplessly,
As her fate was to be determined.
With a vicious arrow she was brought down.
Devoid of light she crawls in the ground.
Upon other stars she gazes
As she tries to make her way back,
Amongst the skies she was born.
