thiNgs i thoUght of whiLst fALLiNg, thoUgh Now i hAve hit the gRoUNd.
Some things I could hold onto forever
The things I fear
The anxieties waiting endlessly in wait for me
Like two second rate thugs they overwhelm me
Poor Atlas had a hell of burden
He never released
Maybe he just held too tightly
Some things I could hold onto forever
And some things would hold me
Some things would make you remember me
If I lied and screwed you over mentally
If I threw rocks at your window romantically
If the broken glass of my love hurt you
I’d know you remember me
Some things would make me cry
And the tears would feel wet on my cheeks
If you told me the truth instead of waiting
I’d wait for your love endlessly
But I’ll cry if you leave
Some things I could hold to forever
Happiness I felt in the cold fall weather
A couple of Sundays we spent together
Your smile as you say
Next time will be better
Maybe next time I could hold your hand
Maybe that’s one of those things I could hold onto
forever
