Skipping Rocks MAG

Skipping rocks across the lake, the grimy sand crusting our feet. We stand hand in hand watching the water ripple as rock after rock sinks to the bottom without so much as a sound. The trees curve in around us, the darkness of sunset creeping in. A chill settles in the air and yet we stand here, watching, waiting to see if just once a rock could make it across to the other side
without drowning.
