Anne Frank
Like Anne Frank, let us find
Our light in the dark,
Following a star,
Shining radiantly in the night,
Guiding us into a new world
Rid of fear and despair.
When a doleful day arrives,
We hold our beliefs,
Wondering, expecting a cheerful day ahead.
We follow our own path,
With the bright light,
Leading us towards our final destination.
All seems distinct, far,
As we peer into the darkness,
Worried, distressed, without a clue of our fate.
But hope, as meager as it looks,
Makes us clutch our beliefs,
believe and head on.
With fear comes hope,
with war comes peace.
What is life without hope?
And what is hope without reality?
Reality is cruel, but hope is our savior:
Lighting a match in our sunken hearts,
Guaranteeing that this dark age will end soon.
