Our flag does not fly because the wind moves it, it flies with the last breath of each soldier who died protecting it."

Sometimes you wish you had uses

Sometimes you just wish you had a voice

Sometimes you wish people would just stop and listen

When you feel ignored, others are right there with you

When you feel broken,

Like a broken music box

When you used to have a say

But now you’re just wrong or brushed off

Like a broken music box that once played a delightful music

Now just on a shelf, collecting dust

You wish you could play a solemn song

But just can’t get the right tune or sound out

Sometimes you wished you had your voice back

Sometimes you wished you hadn’t been brushed off

Sometimes you wish other could see the beauty in you

And not just the broken bits and pieces that don’t define you

You’re still beautiful,

You’re unique with a special song

No matter what it sounds like

Sometimes you need a reminder

Now if only someone was there to remind me.
