House of Frost
With my soul forever doomed,
My love will ever loom.
With my heart venerable and tart;
Lacking the wisdom to be smart.
For she can still evade me.
He might yet still betray me.
To not love is to be lost.
Alone is a glass house covered with frost.
To glare at a garden with pink, blue, and yellow flowers;
Defines the one that cowers.
It's the fear it won't be enough.
Yet, no one ever calls my bluff.
I shall never love, let my heart be lost.
I condemn myself to a house of frost.
