Mother Duck,
the Guiding Light the Leader
the true Protector
Mother Duck,
Stares at the fog up ahead
the ducklings lineup,
one by one
from shore to water
Plop, Plop, Plop
one by one
Mother Duck swims ahead,
through dead weeds,
THOUGH THE DARKNESS.
Ducklings, cluster together
with Mother Duck in front.
Mother Duck,
Guide us to the Light.
Protect Us from the DARKNESS.
