as my blood cries the tears of release.
Release from the entrapment of my skin.
The bitter-sweet kiss of the blade, as it dances across my wrists
Is all I can dream.

I wrote this when I was feeling really down. I've been suffering with depression for about 5 years now, and I used to be a heavy cutter. I recently started feeling the urge, so I channeled that urge into writing.
