The cost of love and joy
It was a breath of fresh air
Nothing more could compare
The love of my life, the woman I dreamt
A bride to be, a day I would not repent
Give her my devotion, even means by death
I will love her with all my breath
A new life conceived
How different days will be perceived
Our days clouded with joy
For it would be a boy
What affirmations would life grant us next
Night came with a foul
My wife woke with a growl
Sheets soaked with gore
She weeped in uproar
Our joy was no more
My love driven me away
All I could see was gray
Her heart full of hate
Love was far too late
