The Phoenicians
Many different pigments of colors,
they jump up and down,
sliding on a piece of paper.
The colors amethyst, lilac, and orchid,
make conversations together,
Look! Such a lovely wonderland
explored and made on paper.
The purple is
as the bravest knight’s horse
dead at the foot of the castle wall
while the gold of the knight’s good banner
waves.
