The glossy-eyed doll in the corner
Reminds me
Of you
The glossy-eyed doll in the corner
Just sits there collecting dust
And weeping at night
Wondering what they should do
For it knows it hurt me
The glossy-eyed doll in the corner
Sits there without emotion
A straight face
Not letting out a word
To show the pain within
The glossy-eyed doll in the corner
Is not vain
It is modest
But it is also unnerving
The glossy eyed-doll in the corner
Listens but cannot hear
It just stares and does not understand
The glossy-eyed doll in the corner
Apologizes for things
That it does not feel
The glossy-eyed doll in the corner
That I love
But hurts me daily
The glossy-eyed doll
That I have let go
