Breathe
No matter what life throws at you...breathe
Never give up... breath
Because you never know if you are going to wake up the next morning
Thank God each day that you open your eyes and breathe
Many people do not have another day,
Another chance to strive or to achieve
So whatever you set your mind to...breathe
And with every breath you take
Have it not be taken for granted
For any second your breathing may stop
Rise and show the world what you have to offer
Another day you open your eyes
Another breath is a gift... breath

Someone very dear to me passed away due to Covid-19 a couple of weeks ago. He was way too young to have passed on, and I'm still unable to have it fully sink in. He was my English teacher at my grammar school and coached me in cross-country. He was one of the most motivational and inspirational people I have ever met. He would often tell us in class and on the field to never give up and thank God for each morning you open your eyes and every breath you take. I felt called to share his wise words and hope you will keep him in your thoughts and continue to work hard and enjoy your life.
