Love is like a papercut.

We give, and receive.

We pour out our internal gold,

We bond, and we believe.

Our precious days, hours, minutes and seconds invested into one.

Hoping that if you give enough time, that horrid day won’t come.

This thought is not one sided, both they and they invest;

They try to keep the other, to avoid being depressed.

All your anger goes away and swaps around with joy.

Knowing that too much joy could also one day destroy.

So we cut ourselves off and try not to let it in.

Their intentions may be pure, but you don’t want to get hurt again.

You give your love, but don’t take theirs.

You’ll do Anything for them, but still act like you don’t care.

You’re building a wall to shield your heart;

It is very very fragile and can easily fall apart.

The other They is giving, but also doing the same.

Building a wall inside so that they won’t get the blame.

Both giving love, and knowing that the other’s is there,

But neither is embracing either’s, which gives the love a tear.

Bound by heart and kept with strings of melody,

Forever And Always will those Theys be.
