To my grandfather
I want to cry my eyes out in front of you,
Sit on the same stairs waiting for you,
I want to see you for the very last time,
Sit on your lap and hear that rhyme,
I want to tell you how lonely I am ,
There's no one I can talk to ; how pitiful I am !
I want you to sit and tell me stories again,
Make up silly little things and forget how you began,
I want you to look at how people have made me cry ,
Each time I think about you I can't help but cry,
I want you to always stay alive in my heart,
Stay and look after the dying tree in my heart,
I want you to bless our family and me,
I Know you must have, I can feel you smiling at me !

By the way, your poem was really beautiful and relatable and as always, you've written it wonderfully with much dedication and it would be so unfair if we did not comment on how great it is...Keep writing...✍🏻✍🏻✍🏻
This poem is a representation of the struggle we all go through after losing our grandparents. We can always pretend that we're okay but deep down inside we all want them back. We miss them and we feel incomplete without them.
