I come from the separation of a family

From the sound of his fist hitting the wall

A bang

From shouts so loud it’s like standing by the waterfalls of my childhood

The lack of knowledge that the police have come

From the drip of rain to the floor as the screams of detest are roared out as loud as a lion

And the cries of my mother accompanied by the clink of cuffs

I come from self doubt

From loneliness so prominent

Prominent enough the pain stabs my heart and soul

From the voices loud enough to be like flies in my ears

No faces to the sound as if slenderman is lurking near

From the chills of the cold midnight air unable to sleep

From sandwiches, chips, soda and cakes, icecreams and snacks eaten

Hopes,

Hopes the food will cause a stomachache big enough to distract the mind

From the crushing feeling of uncertainty like a boulder crushing my body

I come from knowledge

From thoughts of all the changes around me

Feelings,

From realization,

Realization so big

As if an elephant is being taken off my shoulders

From the understanding of the emotions

Felt so prominent

Sighs of relief sounding as if the wind is blowing

From a house in where this knowledge is taboo

The feeling of bandages wrapped around a suffocated chest

Purple

The bruising

I am from the judgment of others

From the stares pointed towards oneself like a new animal in the zoo

Food thrown

Exploding so loud the ringing in your ear is persistent

From the rocks digging into skin

From the names of fag and tranny of hore and slut

Daggers thrown each cutting deeper with every word thrown

From the feeling of separation

Big

As if a bear is wrapping it’s paws around ones body

Squeezing you from consciousness

From light

The light of others guiding my way

This peace was done as a school assignment meant to be made as a way to show what has made you the person you are today, so I very much hope that anyone who reads this work is able to feel the emotion put behind each word.
