Fear- struck of the unknown,
trembling to the core,
she took the first step,
out of the back door.
She could have taken the front,
but, to her, it seem,
It was for the ones
blessed with confidence and self-esteem.
Her thoughts were filled with terror,
her steps stumbly and slow,
wanting to return to her haven,
she had left behind moments ago.
She had to leave her comfort zone,
else stuck forever she will be,
she needed to go at her own pace,
But closer to her goal she needed to be.
