People are always alchemist

trying to turn themselves into things that they are not  

People as a whole 

are more powerful together 

Their flames together create an inferno 

they are painful scorching burning

They change everything they touch in a brilliant blaze

and each individual like flames are beautiful

People are like fire because they are created in a spark of life 

They burn through material things and make memories along the way 

People like fire are easy to fear 

Easy to make quick dangerous judgements about

People like fire are a collection or reactions

Always exploding with emotions

Always trying to acknowledge the cackling flames within themselves

Their flames and feelings always forked in different directions

People like fire are complex with innumerable sides and shades 

But they are whole

People like fire are easy to kill individually 

One blow and the wick is goes cold

People like fire are passionate 

They burn in every color and emotion 

They burn for every reason there is and every new one they create 

People like fire are greedy 

They always want more to burn

People like fire are dangerous  

They burn everything but think they are beautiful while doing it

Change never seems necessary

But it continues to be one of the only ways they know how to live

The feed on life

The only fuel they have 

The only way to keep from dying out is to burn everything along with them

People like fire long to be with the sun 

but don't know how to burn brightly enough 

They cannot give up their dreams of burning where there is no air  

People like fire cannot burn forever
