There are many types of walls
but my favorite wall
is my bedroom wall
I admire
how my wall is blue with so many pictures
I have many experiences with walls
even bump into one it was embarrassing
Walls help support roofs from crashing down on people
Oh wall how grateful I am you have not yet failed me
Oh wall how you can hold so many things at one time
I admire
How you can be made of different materials
I admire
How you don’t complain when nails put in you
Oh walls how you are the best

I wrote this piece in my creative writing class. I was challenged by one of class mates to write an ode to walls. It was very hard but I was about to do it. I am very proud of this piece because it taught me its okay to be challenged sometimes.
