Thinking

Every time I leave I see water in her eyes,

Thinking of something imaginary but wise,

Despite the cold I see flames,

Which is a fire in her tears,

The car going as fast as possible,

I see her heart surpassed it,

Only if she knew her father was going to come back,

Then she would settle down,

The door opening at night,

My princess rushes to me,

With a smile on her face,

Hugging her father,

A piece completing in her heart,

Her mother and father by her side,

Her inner piece is completed,

As if a story with a happy ending,

The author's comments:

This poem is about a daughter whose father is leaving home for work. When he comes back, he is happy but when he leaves, the world is a dark place for her.
