I have a hard time keeping friends
And talking with the ones I love
I have a hard time reaching out
It seems like I’m above
The need for help
From all of you
My future’s flying free
But behind these fearful eyes
My mind
Is killing me
My words are damned
Inside my head
My mouth diverts the traffic
I bury what I never say
All silence feels like static
No reason why I cannot share
My ideas and my life
But I guess that I’m afraid
That they will be the knife
That my friends will use to kill
My endless hopes and dreams
I lock them up inside my head
I’m tearing at the seams
