Which one is you?
This is you
Whoosh
They run next to you
They rub against your shoulders
They shout - ’They will take your spot!’
Turn. Step. Walk.
Smell those flowers,
each and every one.
Pick up the seeds. Walk, slowly.
Sing, Twirl, skip, and look
It doesn’t end
They twinkle overhead, and you walk ahead
They die and burst into flames, and you plant a seed.
Their rain of regret, the roots stride in.
Slowly, very slowly a leaf comes in
Soon, a branch, then some flowers, a fruit ripens
You have your home, you reached the end.
This is not you
Do all, they say -
Top of the class, not enough;
Won the nationals, not enough;
it is the world you compete against.
Get Set GO!
Friends, parties, vacation?
Run little child Run.
100% in all 20 every year?
Boost
Run faster they are catching up!
Show them you are 'unique’
Screech your voice, execute the namaskar, tire your muscles.
You like this? Tell them you do(Even though you don’t).
Feed the greedy man, help the needy man;
still, not enough, you need to run faster.
Do what you were never meant to do(what the others should do)
Wear every hat, every color, but different from others.
The finish line has everything. But does it(for you)?
Run bolt nut Drill
They won’t catch up now
But why do you run?
