autumns in new england
Bright shades of life fly by my vision,
vermillion, cider, and mustard overflowing my senses
Below a pair of worn out boots
the crunch of leaves sounds off
as the wool of my coat brushes against my tresses.
Wind whistles through the trees
Owls boast in the background
The stars beaming,
brimming with light
As dusk nears
and all the New England children
say good night.
