My Little Sister
My little sister is as annoying as homework on the weekend
Listening to her sing is as painful as stubbing your toe
Her mood is as capricious as the weather in Oklahoma
She exacerbates like it’s her job
My little sister is as friendly as a rabid porcupine
She’s as loud as a tornado siren
She talks like she’s from the future
But still doesn’t understand english
My little sister ignores being nice like it’s pointless boondoggle
Her favorite songs sound like a cacophony of out of tune bells
She cleans up her messes like a raccoon digging through trash
She’s as charming as an abandoned house
My little sister is as sweet as sourdough
Dipped in a bowl of salt
She’s as impatient as a driver in New York
Who’s right on time
Sure, my little sister is annoying
And she always makes me mad
But I love her and she loves me
So maybe she’s not so bad
This piece is about my little sister who can be very loud, unhelpful, and annoying.
