Where I'm From
I’m made up of blue water.
I'm from salty air, fluffy grass, and feathery clouds.
Went from brown sand to towering evergreens,
Where I played tag outside with my brothers.
I grew up in Maui where my family and I laughed together.
I'm from mountains and rocks.
I see cars soaring on the road and planes in the big blue sky flying by.
I see peaceful people smiling
With the blazing yellow sun gleaming through the silky clouds.
I smell delicious food and flowers in the air.
Where I’m From
By Greyson Curimao
I hear waves
Crashing and
Splashing with kids laughing.
I’m from dusty sand and a place where the water flowed as smooth as glass.
The birds chirping in the morning was music to my ears.
I’m from bike rides to walks in the park and smiling is in my blood.
