Where I'm From

I’m made up of pine trees glowing green like grass. 

I’m from rain running ‘round the sky.

I’m from where mountain tops blow right off.

Grew up in Oregon.

Where we watch rain fall without a thought of the sun.

I’m from where the Oregon trail ends.

Pioneering is in my blood.
