A Pool of My Tears, Heartache, and Despair
I’m floating in a pool filled with my tears
But the tears aren’t the only thing in the pool
Heartache and Despair are there too
I’ll float in this depressing pool
Until a cold, clamy hand wraps itself around my ankle
It’s loneliness, and I let it drag me down
There’s no use fighting its pull anymore
And as it pulls me towards nothingness
It feels endless
So I close my eyes and welcome the nothingness
Because it’s better than being out there
Out in the world
Out in the world that pushed me
Pushed me in this pool
This pool of my tears, heartache, and despair
