Lost and Lonely
Lost and Lonely
Heart got broke,
Feelings poked.
Nowhere to turn,
no one to talk.
Parents not around,
Sound of their absence,
the loudest sound.
Drowning in tears,
fears compound.
Look for an escape,
Whatever shape.
Chemicals await,
poisonous bait.
Numb the ache inside,
Pain can't hide.
Down that road is a dangerous ride.
Teenage years,
full of jeers,
Anxieties,
insecurities.
Need love,
guidance,
someone who sees.
Instead,
drifting alone,
Making bad choices,
on my own.
When will this loneliness be outgrown?

Being a teenager is hard. This poem is about the struggles. Heartbreak, loneliness, using drugs and alcohol.Having no family around to help.Because you can't really tell them whats going around.
