Your Hollow Heart
You live in a hollow heart,
a hollow heart of steel
And everyday you make it stronger
So you don't have to feel.
And I live in my stained glass heart
A colored heart of art
You can see how I might feel.
But your view is always obstruct.
So you in your hollow heart, and me in my glass
Don't always see eye to eye
Our hearts, they tend to clash.
I've had to come to terms
And I've had to let you go
But I'll never know how you'll feel
Because your heart is hollow and made of steel.
