Seventeen and Sunkissed
Seventeen and sun-kissed, she walks along the shore,
Feeling alive, free, and forever more.
The waves crash, the seagulls cry, the breeze is sweet,
She's in paradise, her worries retreat.
She walks in the water, the sand between her toes,
The ocean's embrace, it takes her woes.
She's a mermaid, a siren, a beachcomber too,
Her heart beats with the rhythm of the waves anew.
Soaking up the rays, her skin
taking on a golden hand.
She closes her eyes and feels the
Warmth on her face
Her worries fade away, replaced
by a peaceful space.
She collects seashells, treasures from the sea,
Memories to keep, secrets to share with glee.
She watches sunsets, the sky ablaze with hues,
Her spirit soars, her dreams unfold like a muse.
She's a beach girl at heart, wild and free,
Her heart full of joy, her soul carefree.
She'll dance in the waves, she'll laugh in the rain,
In this beach paradise, she's found her happy again.
