Happy parents

A mom and a dad

Maybe some kids

Family is supposed to love each other

Hold you when you cry

Support your dreams

And help you achieve your goals

Family is supposed to be…

That’s all I ever think about

How family is supposed to be

Not how mine is

I always have know family to be broken

To be toxic

To be full of lies

To be something it shouldn’t

Others have it worse

So I shouldn’t complain but

My family put on an act for everyone

To make it seem what it is not 

Family is supposed to be happy

But my family is toxic

Not make me feel stupid for having big dreams
