Beyond the forest I wished to play
Mother told me not to stray
Later I became lost and with fright
Drifting away alone in the night
How I wish I never wandered

I wrote this piece for a school project though the inspiration of the theme came from a memory of mine as a child when I got lost after going outside to play for a while.
