The Little Girl That Lives Within Me

as I look into the mirror
I can’t help but feel hurt
like I’ve let her down
the little girl inside me
is probably wondering a lot
maybe where her spark disappeared to
or why her body has changed so much
all I ever wanted was to make her proud
I won’t give up on her
until the day I do just that
seeing that little girl smile again
might just be the thing to bring my spark back
