Free Verse Poem: {Everything I'd wish for}
Within your eyes hid everything
I wish I were let in on.
Your sharp gaze pierced through my being
I'd gulp at the piercing pain,
embracing it each time
for I know I'd have to come down from the high, right after
Yet the bitter aftertaste would always linger
And I'd let it linger
Big, sparkling eyes,
everything I wanted
and lost myself to
