I sit,
In one of the quiet moments of life.
Untroubled.
Filled with a soothing kind of peace
I am still,
But not inactive.
Calm,
Not bored.
These precious moments,
Underrated,
But valuable,
Are slipping away from me.

There are these moments, when my family and I go camping, when I just walk out early in the morning, go to a secluded spot, and just kind of... be in the moment. It's a short but comforting moment without the noise and stress of life. This is a beautiful poem!

aah yes!! i think the able to be idle should be treasured, being constantly stimulated is way too normalized and people aren't appreciating silence like they should. beautifully worded :)
I feel like people rarely take the time to sit truly still.
