Chains of Fate
When I wake up in the morning
All I see is darkness all around me
We are all alike in many ways
But for me I choose a different path
This path may be dark to you
But at the end there is my own light
Others will try to go to a different path
With their own light
But for now I want to remain in the darkness
Following my own path
I know you do not understand
I know you cannot see
But I can see just fine in my dark path
Because it is what I have chosen
So I lay here in the darkness
Looking for my light
If you do not understand me
Please remember this
“We are all free to serve the chains of fate”
These are what bind you and me
To what we want to be.
Choose your own path
And I’ll choose mine
It is up to you to break away from your chains
And me to break away from mine
