One Thousand One Hundred Seventy Days
One thousand one hundred seventy days
Is longer than I’m willing to wait
One thousand one hundred seventy tears
I cry in darkness, silence no one hears

It’s pain that is my voice
I feel there’s no other choice
How do you tell somebody, “no”
Emotions; feelings I’m not allowed to show

He is the master, I am the slave
Do as I'm told, dig my own grave
What's a bruise, one or two?
He still says, “I love you”

 Motionless zombie; isolated from all
Can't fight back; too strong, too tall
One thousand one hundred seventy days
Too far to be found, too far away

Fear is my lover, pain is my friend
 Myself unable to defend
I'll smile for now, pretending is my art
But resentment is all I feel in my heart

One thousand one hundred seventy days
Is all that's left for me to wait
“You'll never truly be free,” he says to me
He might be right, we will just have to see

One thousand one hundred seventy days
I will be gone, so far away
No longer helpless under his power
The truth about bullies; they're nothing but cowards.
