Green Empire
Come with me, my dear,
And See God’s hands at work.
The Universal Craftsman,
Endlessly chiseling away at the greenery,
Eventually creates Paradise.
However, it is always in flux.
This green empire rises and falls
As the seasons endlessly pass.
This is just the Craftsman at work,
Trying to fashion what, in His mind,
Is the perfect imperial society.
The wisest of humans fail
To create the “perfect” world
Because we fail to realize
That perfection lies in imperfection
Within the Green Empire.
