Waiting
The clock ticks by the hour,
slower and slower
I’m waiting for something...
But what? I do not know
I put my hope in the something that will happen,
But my over-active imagination...
puts it to an end.
what could happen?
Another make believe story
Of a Hollywood hero,
Saving everybody
...but me?
So I start to give up,
feeling like no one else understands,
And right when I’m ready to give up,
Someone who feels the exact same way...
Comes up and shows me
I’m not alone because
Nobody ever is.
