holding on

Your holding onto me tightly but why?
A lifeless sad soul…..Such as I
Time ticks by but nothing changes,
You say you can’t blame the world on yourself,
Yet I cannot help thinking of what I’ve “done.”
Tear filled eyes as you hugging me closely,
I’ll never let you go you say……
And then I realize why,
Love is there no matter what, so by telling me no
You are really whispering ever so softly……I love you……
