You’re like an addiction,
A drug I crave.
You make me feel stronger,
You make me feel so brave.

You’re like an addiction,
I know in the end you’ll be bad.
but for the time being,
I need you like mad.

You’re like an addiction,
-You’ve taken over my life-
Everyday I go around,
Not knowing if I’ll survive.

You’re like an addiction,
-the day just goes on and on-
Your face repeats in my brain,
like an overplayed song.
You’re like an addiction,
I’m pulling out my hair.
You’ve left me on the -cold, cold- floor,
gasping for air.

You’re like an addiction,
So many thoughts race through my head.
my teeth grind even harder,
as I curse you for leaving me half dead.

You’re like an addiction,
It feels like I’m drowning in dark water.
plunging down, father and farther,
the numbness –sadly- makes my need stronger.

You’re like an addiction,
I couldn’t bare it if you were to go.
You keep luring me in,
I should’ve said no.
