"Let the beauty we love be what we do. There are hundreds ways to kneel and kiss the ground." - Rumi

I travel this weary path
Step by step I carry on
And every day that pass
I hope you hear my song

Lost and forgotten
Unloved and forsaken
No one cared I was begotten
Born into this world a mistake

Day by day, I grow older
Weary and weathered
My feet are broken
My soul grows colder

All the hate and deceit
The world corrupt
People like me scolded upon
The homeless, as well as the hopeless

Though I pass many people by
No one cares to look my eye
Into a soul and past experience askew
They know not where I am from

Quoting yourself makes you an ass.

The first stanza doesn't really flow... maybe it's the pass in the third line... But the over all idea I relate with deeply. It's like how you start to hate yourself for how much you love yourself.  My favorite part is " Lost and forgotten / Unloved and forsaken / Born into this world a mistake." Though I think we're not born into the world a mistake... Just a little broken... not a mistake.

Haha, thanks! I don't really like this one myself. I sometimes wish I could take some of my junk off here, but I don't think you can... Oh well. :P

Life is not measured by the number of breaths you take... but by the moments that take your breath away.
